I have lived in Plymouth since coming here to study at the university in 1996.  I lived in Lipson Vale for a few years.  I have been on the Governing Body at Lipson since November 2020.

I am a serving Senior Deputy Headteacher at another secondary school in the city.  My role is to have oversight of the curriculum but this broad remit sees me have involvement in many areas of the school, enabling me to understand the challenges and opportunities that a secondary school has. 

I am keen and pleased to be able to bring my experience as a senior leader of a secondary school to the Governing Body at Lipson.  The relationship has been mutually beneficial and I believe strongly in the role that Lipson can play in its community.
