Year 9 Tutor Team
Guided Reading
In tutor we run our guided reading programme three mornings a week, students are expected to follow along with their reading ruler as the teacher reads the book out loud to them whilst the synopsis of the book is shown on the board. All books are kept in the classroom so students have access to them for tutor time.
Reward Trips
We have recently run a trip to Adrenalin Quarry for those students with excellent attendance and behaviour at school. There will be more opportunities available throughout the year with our next one being in December where we will be hiring Adrenalin Leisure for the hour.

During Week A we have a year group assembly on a Wednesday. This is a good opportunity to get the students and tutors together to deliver any key messages.
